WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT! Wow what a game!

Knuble from Carter and Upshall! What a game Jeff Carter put together (2 goals, 1 assist) - he was a force the entire night. SIGN THE MAN!

How about Danny Briere slamming the AMAZING pass from Mike Richards home to knot the game at 3 and for the OT??????? What a pass by Mr. Everything. Briere has turned his game up to 11 - he is en fuego right now.

Marty Biron was just plain outstanding!!!! He shut the door when the Caps were buzzing in the 3rd and kept his cool in OT and OT.

If not for Cristobal Huet, the game would have been over long before. That diving two handed stop with no goaltending stick was just insane! He was outstanding and it is a tragedy that someone had to lose...but, oh well...FLYERS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kudos to the Flyers fans in attendence!!!! That building has not rocked that hard in a loooooooooong time! Well done Orange Crush!!!!!

Flyboys head to our Nation's capitol to try to end this thing on Saturday night.

Outstanding.

I have no voice left, brotha...none. I also have a wife pissed off at me and two kids that will be hard to wake tomorrow, and an equally crazy neighbor who'll be sleeping on HIS couch tonight-just like I am on mine...but it was more than worth it!

Good game fella's...but let's be cautious. It's hard for any team to finish off the team. Look at Montreal and Boston. The Fly Boys need to come out with the "A" game and take the crowd (bandwagoners) out of it in a hurry. JSAfter a long night like that, sometimes the couch is better then the bed. LOL I knew I had trouble sleeping after the game.Great stuff SYF, love the pictures

Bandwagoners? What? You think because you spent one season in the gutter swill (oh man you guys were effing miserable last year, it was sad, really) and 'stuck with the boys' that you're Flyer's faithful? I mean really, are potshots necessary? Just be happy that there's a reason for people to be watching hockey in another area. You realize that when the Lock-out was occurring that they took surveys basically trying to figure out who 'cares' that the NHL was foregoing a season, and all 50 states (that includes all you passionate Philly fans) posted a minority of voters who gave a damn.

Holy mackerel Winger, what are you on about? Awesome game last night Philly, good to see the OT winner wasn't a fluke, with all that pressure you could smell it coming. ! more win and you can beat the tar out of the Rangers while we dismantle the Pens. The dream is alive!!

I don't think you can accuse anyone in Philly for not sticking with any of their teams. We all know I don't see eye to eye with Philly fans, but I will give them that. As well as passion, no matter how it's expressed. It's no secret that not many people care about hockey; of course any survey will show a minority caring about hockey, especially in a state known for football. Jsaquella: sucks for you man, I don't think I could stand for that. Some of my best memories are OT games at the old Aud with my dad as a youngin'.

That was a great game and this blog says it all! My wife was laughing at me as I jumped up and down and pounded my fists on the sofa. Then after a 5 minute break, I started the game up again from the beginning off of the tivo. No sleeping last night!

NYWinger: Suffer through a bad Flyers year isn't a thing we do a lot in Philly. Maybe if we were Islanders fans, we'd be used to being pathetic. Worst in the league to playoffs in six months. Isles took, what, six years?

and at least we have ownership committed to winning...
