I love hockey as a sport in whole whether it be the NHL or pee wee league, hockey to me is the greatest sport on the planet and has the oldest professional trophy to compete for, Lord Stanley's cup.
But I'm blogging about player movement. Why? because it's that time of year where we all SPECULATE who may be traded and what players worth is. Now remember that what we as fans may think about a player and their value G.M.'s around the league might think differently. The value of any player is like a stock it goes up and down through out the year, not the season.
Fans don't want to give up much for a U.F.A. because there's a chance that the player may walk at the end of the season, i.e. Thomas Vanek which is a possibility but G.M.'S know that players like Vanek, Miller, Moulson, Ott, an aging Briere and a beavey of others can significantly help their clubs come playoff time. Trust me if your team trades for one of these players like say MIller and they pay the Sabre's asking price then go on and win the cup then you'll be happily celebrating and saying what a shrewd smart move our G.M. made and if not then barrels of critisism will fly. However G.M.'s fear not because they know they'll be able to salvage something for the player after the season and at the draft
Who knows what they'll get at what time but I think Moulson, Miller and Vanek will at least get a 1st rounder on draft day.
Thanks for nothing
you are by far the most useless blogger on this whole site!
Your blogs are the worst hockey blogs I have ever seen. You bring embarrassment to Buffalo hockey fans everywhere. With that being said, I love reading your blogs just to see what stupidity you come up with
