It’s time to change

The Buffalo Sabres have to rearrange things.
Kevin Adams has to do something because this team isn’t playing hockey. As I see it one of two things have to happen, either fire Krueger or trade Eichel.
I don’t think the coach has the respect of his players. Granted there’s injuries to our goaltending, defense and Eichel but they’re professionals, whoever fills those spots temporarily have to step up and answer the call. We have nobody doing that.
So, maybe the team doesn’t like the treatment of skinner, but $9mil you gotta produce no ifs and or butts.
When a team plays as like they’re not interested, it’s the coach. Fire Krueger, get a high profile coach like Bruce Bodreaux and see how the team responds, if it’s the same, trade Eichel, after all he wears the “c” and we all know wear the “c” in Buffalo eventually means your being traded at some point.
That seems to be the best option as we hand out bank based on past performance and it bites us in the azz. Cody Hodgeson, Ville Leino, Kyle Okposo, Jeff Skinner to name a few.
We need and deserve people who know how to run and build a team, until then it’ll always be the same. Outside looking in.

Buffalo would be nuts to trade Eichel. That being said, something about this team has lacked cohesiveness since the old leadership group of Briere, Drury and etc. I can't say they haven't spent the money and tried. I feel like they need more hockey people in the organization,
Ty hockeydaddict. What this organization hasn’t had is a good experienced management team. The Pegulas keep putting in inexperienced nobodies that can’t assess talent and put a quality team on the ice. We need a pres. of hockey ops, a proven gm and coach, which we’ll never get as the boat needs renovations. We poor people understand the meaning of status. It’s unthinkable to be boating around with last years fashion.
Spending money, as MTL knows, isn't the magic pill. As EDM knows, the wrong mix of talent is also not it. This is what separates the star GMs from the rest of the pack, and IMO it's what separates teams. Every squad has amazing talent and hard workers, but it's the right combination of that that matters. Tossing dollars at an issue and expecting cohesion just due to that spend is ridiculous.
