When rebuilding a team you also have to include coaching and management personnel in that equation. I believe we have the right pieces in place in Tim Murray, Ted Nolan, Zemgus Girgensons and believe it or not, the Sabres goaltending.
The team also boasts one of the best prospect pools in the NHL right now to train and rebuild their roster from. Some of these players will be on the Sabre's, some will be lifetime AHL'ers like Luke Adam, some will fade away and others will be trade bait.
So, as of today I can count these 11 players and 2 management personell to be part of the rebuild:
1 - Samson Rienhart
2 - Zemgus
3 - Both Tylers
4 - Armia
5 - Grigorenko
6 - McCabe
7 - Risto
8 - Zedorov
9 - Enroth
10 - Nuevirth
11- Ted Nolan - coach
12- Tim Murray - GM
So I understand what you are getting at, but I think you are missing 1, Rinehart. The others are "replaceable" and most likely will be. Hopefully sooner (after this season) than later.
OOOOOPS! MY BAD HOW CAN I FORGET SAMSON!
ugh, give up
