Ever since trade rumors of Evander Kane to Buffalo swirled a looooon time ago we heard about the shower incident and what a cancer the then 30 goal scorer was in the peg then bam GMTM lands his man in Evander Kane. The local am radio host were tootin' their horns rilin up the masses with all the retread rumors of bad boy behavior.
Evander was living up to the hype in Buffalo renting helicopters to hang with the NBA & family up in Tonto, allegedly groping women in bars getting into trouble with the law.
That's all you've heard since is trade Kane get something of value before we loose,him for nothing.
TRADE! TRADE! TRADE KANE!
Kane was given a 6 month acd and since then has been behaving quite well outside the Key Bank Center and also on the ice since his return from cracked ribs stock piling points, slamming his body around, using his speed to beat oponents to wayward pucks, really making a difference.
Now that the winds of law breaking have silenced I thought I'd speak up and say what I've believed all along, the Sabres would be crazy to trade Evander Kane unless they profited from the trade.
You don't give up a natural born hockey player like Kane, players like him don't grow on trees and with the Sabres being at the bottom of the league in scoring one would have to scratch their head if GMTM traded a big percentage of the teams scoring.
Be realistic, who would you get back in return that can produce like Kane does? NO ONE! not a D-man or another Left winger, period.
Like the Anaheim Ducks recently proved, the best trade is the trade thats not made at all (should've thought about that before trading McNabb to the Kings).

Trading Kane would be a backwards move!
Amen! Keep Kane... After Eichel (and Risto to some degree) he is the most exciting player on Buffalo roster, by far.
Best thing he ever did was punch Cooke.That being said, BuffaLOL is stuck with him now since they have nothing aside from him and Eichel
