This is the time for a statement to be made by The Buffalo Sabres. They have to give notice to the league that their performance during the 10 game winning streak that, that IS the real team.

Evan Rodriguez can change the dynamics of the team if he can provide offense in Jack's absence.Rodriguez has speed and guts, he comes to play every game and he likes to rush the net as Jack loves the one timer from the left circle.

If this experiment succeeds it could push Evan up to the second line when Eichel returns.

Housley has to motivate his team. He has to make them believe that they can achieve victories with their leader out of the line up. If not get ready to hear the winds of change in the rumor mills calling for Housley's head if the losses keep mounting.

Hopefully our team catches 2nd half fire as we've seen in the past, but, this time for playoff seeding instead of lottery position.
