Eleven years is a loooooong time to fail to make the playoffs. But finally Sabres fans can say “next year” with positive feelings.

I think this teams going to be hard to make next season unless your names Dom Hasek.

The teams past the jelling stage and on a forward trajectory to contending for the playoffs which means there will be fewer spots on the team to make and once you do, you better work hard to stay on the team as our talent pools getting deeper with players who are NHL ready.

Here’s two spots; Cody Eakin and Will Butcher.

Speaking of Willy Is there any Gm stupid enough to give us a third round pick for Butcher? Please step forward with a big smile!

Jeez who could’ve the Sabres have drafted with those two third rd picks?

As of this writing The Sabres have, count ‘em three players with twenty goals or better.
