I thought I would put a small blog up for camp day 2
Aucoin got his legs back
also his shot wow some really good shots back
Craig Conroy was very good, he is a lot faster than I thought
Lombo was with tangs and Iggy, they looked very good lombo was actually faster this year if that an really happen
Langkow with Nolan and juice and Juice left the camp early looked like a leg or knee injury
Regher looked solid doing very well breaking up passes solid defensively as usual
Tangs has had a been outstanding so far he has some real jump.
Warrner looks great his skating has really improved he really did a major work out during the off season, including the skating school.
Cory Sarich looks like he will fit in nicely
The interesting battle will be between hale and pardy and ramholt
to add to that word out of Calgary is there is one spot for a dman a forward and a goalie.
Pardy and Ramholt were very good in the rookies side of the practice
Boyd will a super star problem is the Flames don't really need help with goal scoring
Which means there could be a opening for a fineness player with lots of grit which opens the door for Carsen and Prust . So maybe boyd is not a lock after all
Kron will be out maybe up for a week and something interesting he was put with the Rookies and McElhinny is with the vets don't know if how much you put on that by the way Curtis did look very good today.
Kipper looked relaxed was fooling around a bit today
Oh one more thing Kolanos looked very good among the prospects may actually make the trip to Quad Cities this season
I think Pardy and Ramholt are really battling it a interesting timbit they're best friends both trying to help each other which is really nice to see.
Prust I have been told is injured to I don't know if that is true
Any more info you need let me know by your comments
Flamestr
Hey Flamestr. Eagerly anticipating the games with Calgary this year. Looking forward to some good skating!
Prust is recovering right now so doubtful to crack the lineup for opening day, I feel they'll like boyd as he's the kind of cenjter who doesn't mind going to the crappy areas to get goals, the only guy who had a step on him this year is playing in russia!! Prust though, in my opinion, is a guy i'd like tp see on the team at some point this year, super high energy agitator, you need a guy like that to draw penalties in the playoffs! Thanks for the update!!!
huselius hurt!??uh oh... details?
I couldn't get any details they wouldn't let me in flames12 he was limping off when he left
Thanks for the update. I think Krahn's days as a Flames prospect are numbered. Good to hear Warrener is looking better, and I hate to be critical, but, HE BETTER LOOK BETTER!!! Damn.
