MERRY CHRISTMAS

A CHILD WISH LIST

The day is coming. No matter how much we as fathers do not want it to, I guarantee it is coming. You have heard there are only two sure things in life: death and taxes. Well, I would like to add one more to that list, and that is: the Christmas wish list. Yes, the Christmas wish list; the most dreaded list of all fathers. Come on, guys, you know - the letter that goes to Santa Claus. The mailing to Santa or the demanding of someone gifts will come. Well, demanding might be little strong; how about begging? I thought I would tell you one part of Douglas Christmas list: his hockey wishes.

Goalie Pads

He already has his own pads. What he really wants is Kipper goalie pads. If he can get Kipper goalie pads, he can get Kipper reflexes, and will be able to turn into a pretzel while making a save.

Goalie Glove

More specifically, Roberto Luongo goalie glove. You see, he already has a goalie glove. But if he had Luongo glove, maybe he can have the Roberto glove hand, making saves look easy.

Goalie Stick

Well, Marty Turco goalie stick. He already has a goalie stick. He wants to learn how to control a puck with a goalie stick. He really wants to know how to handle a puck like a true NHL goalie. And whose stick better than Marty Turco goalie stick, with which comes the precision control of Turco.

And of course, he obviously wants the new Stanley Cup Champions to be the Calgary Flames. With who as their new goalie? Well of course, Douglas! With all that new equipment, how could he not be the new goalie?

Every child has a Christmas list. That is one of the greatest gifts life gives to a father. I love this time of year. It seems to bring out the best part of all of us. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
