EDMONTON OILERS HAVE BITE
My thirty-team tour takes me to Edmonton. The first thing that comes to mind when I think about the Oilers is that they are one of the fastest teams in the league. Their forwards are also very offensively gifted and very young, with ton of potential for many years to come. I love this team, because they are still young and have this never-say-die attitude.
ALES HEMSKI
I was watching the Edmonton vs Colorado game the other night. I saw Ales score one of the prettiest goals in the league this year. Ales took the puck from one end to the other and shot the perfect shot past Peter Budaj. He has terrific vision, and great speed. To me, Ales is one most under-rated forwards in the game, and has a terrific wrist shot.
SHAWN HORCOFF
Shawn is a gifted offensive center. I really like his speed and his moves. I swear he can switch gears on a thin dime. Shawn is a terrific playmaking center, that he could pass a needle through a hay stack. He has a surprisingly heavy slap shot, which is very accurate and dangerous. I also like his grit; if he can continue his leadership qualities, he will be valuable corner stone to the team.
RAFFI TORRES
This power forward has tons and tons of potential. If Raffi plays his rambunctious style, he often gets his opponents off their game. He is a thorn in their side, with an offensive upside. He gets tons of garbage goals, which is perfect for the style he plays. Raffi is one of the best hitters in the game.
MATT GREENE
This choice may surprise most people, except Oiler fans. Matt is one of the best kept secrets in the league, a terrific stay-home defenseman. Matt has a lot of upside, whose defensive zone play is sound and constant. I love his hitting and the fact that he is young, which means he is only going to get better. Matt will be solid defenseman for years to come.
CONCLUSION
I really like this team and with their full line up, this Oiler team will be competitive. In fact, watching them tonight, I think they are there now. If they can get a vet at the dead line one with some leadership skills, they could that much better.

Unfortunately for the Oilers, beating the Flames certainly does not class them a good team.
Well then I guess for the flames losing to the oilers doesn't make them a good team.
which is exactly what sstrang is saying!!!
exactly JimiRude...it takes an Oiler fan a little longer to get it all!!
